I'm thrilled to share the latest updates on GraPplE PLumBer, the exciting 2D platformer game that I've been working on. In this devlog, I'll give you a sneak peek into the gameplay and features of GraPplE PLumBer, and share some of the behind-the-scenes development process.

GraPplE PLumBer is all about using a grappling hook to navigate through challenging levels and reach the portal at the end of each stage. Players can throw the grappling hook and connect it to different points, creating a dynamic and engaging gameplay experience. By left-clicking, players can throw the hook and attach it to the point where it hits. By left-clicking again, players can create a path between the point where the hook was attached before and the point where it is attached after, allowing for strategic planning and precise maneuvering. Players can also navigate the direction of the hook by right-clicking, adding an additional layer of control and strategy.

The game features retro-inspired graphics, immersive sound effects, and catchy music created by the talented sound designer Rexlandish, which adds to the overall gameplay experience.

I'm also grateful to work with the talented artist, animator, and level designer Pandagooess who has contributed eye-catching and visually appealing art, as well as well-designed levels that provide a challenging and enjoyable gameplay experience.

As a solo developer, the journey of developing GraPplE PLumBer has been both challenging and rewarding. From designing the mechanics and levels, to implementing the grappling hook system, and refining the gameplay through playtesting, it has been an exciting and fulfilling experience.
